My Fabulous Family

Back when I did the photo shoot for the Easter cards, I managed to capture this great picture of Dan and the kids on the Liberty Bridge in downtown Greenville and I wanted to share it with all of you.  I am so very blessed.  :)

Tabby Cats

Back in April Lisa and I surprised Lorelai and Sierra with a trip to Club Tabby.  I always take a picture before they get all dolled up.
I took this picture so that Lisa might be able to use it for Sierra's invitations to her spa birthday party.  It ended up being the perfect picture for the invites!
Sierra got a pretty pink streak.
 Lorelai showing off her stars.

Time for a fashion show ~ complete with purple and pink boas.

Lorelai made some sweet-smelling perfume.

Chase and Miller were kind enough to hang out and wait while the girls got all fancied up.

All You Need Is Love

This is a picture that hung in Miller's classroom at school until he got moved up to the next room.  When we asked if everyone made a picture like this, the teacher told us that he was the only one.  I guess they think he's pretty special, just like we do!

Crayon Creativity

For an end-of-the-year present for each child in Lorelai's class I made picture frames and inserted a picture I had taken of the child at a class birthday party we attended.  The parents loved them and the kids were so excited to get pictures of themselves.  I found the idea on homemade.tipjunkie.com.  I also made two frames for Lisa with pictures of Sierra and Chase.   Let me know what you think ~ hope you love them!!

Princesses and Polish

Here are the follow-up pictures of Lorelai and her friends at Elizabeth's princess party.
The wand and crown display that was waiting for us when we walked in the door.  Each princess got to take one of each home to keep.
 Pretty princesses.
Then the special guest of honor arrived.  Guess who?!
 Snow White!!

Each girl had her nails painted by either Snow White or her Lady-in-Waiting.  Lorelai wanted to hold out for Snow White, so here are a few shots of her waiting patiently for her turn.

Finally it was her turn.  She soaked up every minute of it!

Here's one more picture of her on the swing that I forgot to post last time.  Figured it went well with this post since she was wearing her crown this time.

Princess Swings-A-Lot

Last weekend Lorelai went to a princess-themed birthday party.  Even while having princess lessons given by a real Disney princess (I'll tell you who it was in a later post) and when it was time to eat cake, all Lorelai cared about was swinging on the playset.  Guess we know where her priorities lie!

More Bunny Business

A week or so before Easter the kids and I made very special marshmallow treats that Grandmother got for them.  Since enough for two bunnies were included they each got to make their own.
I tried to get a picture of my two angels together before we got started, but it was to no avail.
All of the yummy ingredients and extras needed for the project.
It's always important to read the instructions first.
After the butter melted it was time to throw in the marshmallows.

Hmmm...what do we do next?
It was time to butter their hands so they could press the krispy treats into the molds.

Decorating time!!

Spooky smile, but really cute bunny.  (It was the only smile I could get before he ran away.)
The icing queen showing off her blue tongue.  When I told her I couldn't quite see it well enough...
...this is what she did in response.  Yikes!!
My sweet bunny with a bunny of her own.
